Japan Animal Crises
Jul 15,2011
A 9.0-magnitude megathrust earthquake occurred on 11 March 2011 at 14:46 (Japan Standard Time - JST in the western Pacific Ocean, with its epicenter approximately 72 kilometers (45 mi) east of the Oshika Peninsula of Tohoku, Japan, lasting approximately six minutes. The nearest major city to the quake was Sendai,Honshu, Japan, 130 kilometers (81 mi) away. The quake occurred 373 km (232 mi) from Tokyo. The main earthquake was preceded by a number of large foreshocks, and multiple aftershocks were reported afterwards.
The physical damage to Japan is tremendous in nature. The death toll as of the writing of this text is over 8,000 dead and another 12,000 still missing. It will take years to rebuild. The early damage repair cost estimates is 235,000,000.00. Human rescues are the primary effort presently underway, what about the animals? There are an enormous number of animals displaced by this catastrophy, from wild animals, ferrel animals, pets which were displaced and pets which are being left behind when their owners leave Japan. What are they to do. Well, there are four (4) organizations trying to do the impossible. With limited resources, David Wybega and Susan Roberts of the Japan Cat Network; the Heart- Tokushima animal rescue; the World Veterinarian Organization (WorldVets) and Animal Garden Niigata animal Rescue organizations, are among others which are trying to help the dislocated, starving and injured animals of Japan.
If you wish to help one or more of these organizations, please go to their webstie, read about them and make up your own mind. The catastrophy is real, the need is real and your support will help the people do what they feel is the right thing to do at this point in their lives and in yours.
Our participation in this effort is based on an article we read from CNN which you can read at

So, your help is needed. Animal Advertising Center, LLC located in Grants Pass, Oregon while just starting our company and not even have launched our website yet in going to donate $1,000.00 USD to be distributed to these four (4) organizations. The catastrophe in Japan didn't wait for us to be ready so we have to take this money out of our savings, but it must be done.
